IJS Implementation Committee Mandate

The IJS Implementation Committee plays a central leadership and oversight role in driving the successful implementation of the Integrated Justice System (IJS) Programme. As a key governance structure, the Committee ensures effective coordination, accountability, and progress across all programme activities.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leadership and Coordination
   The Committee provides strategic leadership and guidance to substructures and various IJS Programme teams. Members exercise their authority within the scope of their departmental mandates.
2. Change Control Oversight
   It ensures that all change requests follow a formal change control process and approves such changes in line with programme objectives.
3. Departmental Participation
   It oversees and facilitates participation requests from IJS member departments in relevant project teams to ensure integrated and collaborative implementation.
4. Governance and Compliance
   The Committee is responsible for governance oversight and ensuring compliance with IJS Programme policies, standards, and regulations.
5. Project Prioritisation
   It oversees a transparent and comprehensive process for selecting and prioritising IJS projects based on strategic value and impact.
6. Strategic Direction and Approvals
   The Committee provides direction and strategic oversight for the approval and execution of IJS Programme initiatives.
7. Performance Evaluation
   It monitors and evaluates the progress, output, and quality of IJS projects to ensure continuous improvement and successful delivery.
